context
Modernization and construction for Dakar 2026: two synthetic turf fields
Designed in accordance with international standards, these modern pitches offer optimal playing conditions that are durable and suitable for intensive use. The choice of synthetic turf guarantees performance, athlete safety, and controlled maintenance costs, while meeting current environmental requirements.
These new facilities will play a key role during the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, hosting training sessions, competitions, and sporting activities, while contributing to the excellence of the Games’ organization.
Beyond the event itself, these fields will leave a lasting legacy that will benefit Senegalese youth, local clubs, and communities by promoting access to sports, training, and the emergence of new talent.
The 4th Youth Olympic Games, known as Dakar 2026, will take place from October 31 to November 13, 2026, in Senegal. This is the first edition of an Olympic event on the African continent, bringing together young athletes from around the world for sporting competitions, cultural activities, and an educational exchange program.
This international event will cover several cities, including Dakar, Diamniadio, and Saly, and will feature more than 100 events in around 20 different sports, with a strong ambition to leave a lasting legacy for sport and infrastructure in Senegal.

Construction of two synthetic turf fields
- Fine leveling, adjustment, and compaction of the subgrade
- Supply and installation of geotextile
- Construction of a central drainage network
- Construction of a perimeter drainage system
- Supply and installation of a gravel drainage layer
- Supply and installation of a gravel sealing layer
- Installation of 8 concrete manholes with grates
- Installation of borders around the perimeter of the field
- Supply and installation of 60mm high synthetic turf with local untreated sand infill and black SBR (without a cushion layer)
- Supply and installation of a pair of fixed soccer goals - 5m wide and 2m high, including soccer nets
