context
CAN 2021, a successful mission for Cameroon
In preparation for the African Cup of Nations 2021, Cameroon has rolled out a vast sports infrastructure program to match the event. In Yaoundé, the Olembe sports complex is the centerpiece, with a 60,000-seat main stadium, two training grounds and high-level ancillary facilities.
Gregori International has been involved in :
- The natural turf of the main stadium, to FIFA standards ;
- The complete resumption of the two training grounds;
- And the construction of an IAAF-certified athletics track, integrated into the overall project.
These interventions ensured the quality of the playing surfaces and facilities, in compliance with international standards and the deadlines imposed by the CAN calendar.
With this major project, Gregori International has confirmed its ability to work on complex, high-visibility projects, and to contribute to the success of major African sporting events.
