Project
context
the agadir stadium, a symbol of modernity and footballing passion
In 2011, with a view to hosting future major African competitions, in particular the African Cup of Nations, Morocco launched a series of construction projects. Gregori International was commissioned to build the main and annex soccer pitches, as well as the athletics track.
Since its opening, the stadium has hosted major events, including the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup, where it was one of two venues chosen for the matches. It is also home to the Hassania Union Sport d’Agadir (HUSA) club, reinforcing its central role in the region’s sporting life.
With this achievement, Agadir has established itself as a credible and dynamic host city, ready to welcome the great sporting events of the African continent.
