Project
context
montjuic olympic stadium, renovated for the 1992 olympic games
Barcelona’s Montjuic Olympic Stadium was already ready in 1929, but history decided otherwise. It was not until 1992 that the stadium was finally put to use, after undergoing major renovations in which Gregori International played a part: renovation of the natural grass pitch (8,000 m²), sanded artificial turf training field, athletics tracks and other artificial sports surfaces.
Thanks to its new infrastructure and facilities, the stadium can now accommodate 65,000 spectators and has been awarded 5 stars by UEFA.
