Located just a few minutes from downtown Dubai, the Nad Al Sheba Golf Course occupies a historic place in the development of golf in the United Arab Emirates. Formerly one of the most popular courses in the region, it marked the beginnings of modern golf in Dubai, attracting local and international golfers with its friendly atmosphere and challenging layout.

context
Nad al sheba, in the history of Emirati golf
Built around a racecourse, Nad al Sheba was designed in the classic Scottish links style. This 18-hole international course features 8 lakes and 110 deep pot bunkers. Elevated tees offer superb views over the entire course.
Renowned for its night lighting, which enabled play even after sunset – a rarity at the time – Nad Al Sheba offered a technical and well-maintained 18-hole course, with fast greens, strategically positioned bunkers and a unique view of the surrounding dunes.
Today, the site has evolved into Meydan Golf – The Track, a 9-hole public course of international quality integrated into the Meydan Racecourse complex, famous for hosting the Dubai World Cup, one of the world’s most prestigious horse races.
Nad Al Sheba remains an iconic name in the history of Emirati golf, having laid the foundations for what is today a must-see destination for luxury golf enthusiasts.
