Mirage City Golf Club, located in New Cairo near the JW Marriott, is an exceptional golf course that combines hotel luxury, modern architecture and technical challenges for golfers of all levels. Designed by architect Peter Harradine and inaugurated at the end of the 1990s, this 18-hole, par 72 course extends over some 7,100 yards (~6,500-6,600 meters), with several tees allowing the length to be adapted to suit the player.

Mirage City Golf Club, a golf oasis
In the beginning, there was nothing but sand and wind… Designed by Peter Harradine, this course is now a veritable oasis, where the spirit of the desert blows over splendid Saguaros Cactus, veritable sentinels keeping watch over torrents of rock.
What sets Mirage City apart are its water hazards (nearly 13 holes out of 18 feature water hazards), generous undulating fairways, well-placed white bunkers and well-protected fast greens. The setting, with its palm- and tree-lined fairways, rockeries and small hills, resembles a Garden of Eden in the Egyptian desert.
The club also offers a 9-hole executive course, ideal for practice or a quick game. The facilities are top-notch: driving range, pro-shop, equipment rental, caddies, catering, bar, elegant clubhouse, relaxation areas, all backed by the JW Marriott hotel.
Open to visitors every day, Mirage City Golf Club is often cited as one of the best courses in Cairo, combining high sporting standards, well-kept surroundings and top-class hospitality. Leaders, amateurs and more experienced golfers alike will find what they’re looking for, whether for a relaxed round or a more serious challenge.
