The beauty of the site and the fragility of the existing biotope (eucalyptus woods and cork oaks on the edge of the Atlantic) meant that very selective deforestation was required, preserving the site’s precious characteristics and highlighting the many plant species that grow there naturally.
This course, designed by Cabell Robinson, is still one of Club Med’s most prestigious golf destinations.

the dunes golf course, a green setting designed for the game
Located just ten kilometers from downtown Agadir, Golf Les Dunes is one of Morocco’s golfing gems. Opened in 1991, this internationally renowned course extends over 101 hectares of undulating terrain, dotted with eucalyptus, tamarisk, broom and palm trees, with four large lakes giving it a lush, soothing character.
Designed by architect Cabell B. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, a renowned disciple of Robert Trent Jones, Golf Les Dunes offers 27 holes divided into three 9-hole loops – the Eucalyptus, Oued and Tamaris courses – each with a Par 36, but varying lengths and challenges to suit all levels.
Each hole has its own personality: the Eucalyptus course seduces with its winding fairways among the trees, the Oued requires precision and strategy, while the more panoramic Tamaris offers beautiful views and a slightly more open layout. The game is punctuated by lakes, well-placed bunkers and undulating terrain, often requiring you to think carefully about each shot.
The mild climate of the Agadir region, with temperate winters and relatively cool summers, means that you can play practically all year round in pleasant conditions.
