The building itself is an architectural feat, harmoniously blending traditional elements of Islamic architecture with modern infrastructure. Inspired by the grandeur and elegance of the famous Umayyad palaces, it embodies the rich cultural and historical heritage of Damascus, while meeting the contemporary needs of a high-level conference center.
The Omeyades Convention Center offers meeting rooms and event spaces of varying capacities, capable of hosting events ranging from international conferences and trade shows to exhibitions, concerts and diplomatic ceremonies. Its flexible design allows spaces to be tailored to the specific needs of organizers, with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and high-quality facilities.
