With over a million m² of FIBERSoil installed worldwide

Gregori International has been a specialist in reinforced flooring for 30 years, with over a million m² of FIBERSoil installed worldwide. This simple, innovative technology combines resistant, reliable and affordable materials: sand and synthetic fibers.

This mixture can be used raw for equestrian and equine surfaces, or to reinforce grassed surfaces on sports fields. With FIBERSOIL CLASSIC FIBER, Gregori International offers a lawn with a root system woven deep into the fiber network. Polypropylene fibers from new materials are extremely fine, rot-proof, indestructible and resistant to UV radiation.

Hybride premium

The combination of natural grass and synthetic fibres or artificial weave

This is a system in which natural grass is reinforced with synthetic grass fibers. This innovative hybrid turf process makes it possible to follow traditional natural turf techniques and practices. This technology is increasingly chosen by top-level clubs, stadium managers and federations for training and playing in the most prestigious competitions, as it meets all technical, aesthetic, sporting and even economic requirements.

Gregori International is a qualified specialist installer of hybrid sports turf and offers maintenance schedules tailored to this technology. We’ll support you in your project to build or renovate advanced, top-of-the-range sports turf pitches with complete confidence: hybrid turf solutions have proven their worth all over the world!

100% natural turf reinforced with artificial grass reinforcement

Synthetic fabric prefabricated in a weave that allows natural grass to grow through the fabric. The synthetic fibers are sewn onto a special cotton fabric, which in just a few days promotes the association between the synthetic and natural strands, while allowing the root tissue of the natural grass to develop, the surface remaining permeable to air and water, providing excellent soil resistance and stability. Using this process, the installation of hybrid veneer turf sometimes proves to be an optimal emergency solution, particularly when it comes to partially renovating the goal area of your pitch.

A fibersoil lawn is a hybrid sports floor made of a mixture of sand, synthetic fibers and organic matter. This system reinforces the stability of the pitch while maintaining the feel of natural grass

Its strengths :

  • Very good lift, even under heavy load
  • Increased soil stability due to anchoring the roots around the fibers
  • Better flatness and homogeneous handling, appreciated in competition
  • High resilience to weather and training loads

More regular playing conditions than on conventional natural grass

Fibersoil remains more expensive than traditional natural soil and requires a very technical implementation. It also requires regular monitoring to avoid compaction linked to the intensity of the training, with suitable equipment

The interview is based on three axes :

  1. Regular decompaction to preserve the elasticity of the substrate
  2. Frequent mowing to maintain optimal grass density

Aerations and sanding to maintain drainage and limit wear. Well-managed maintenance keeps a consistent level of performance throughout the season

With rigorous maintenance, a fibersoil can remain efficient for 8 to 12 years, depending on the intensity of use. Professional clubs find it an advantage, as it retains its quality even with busy schedules.

The cost varies according to the composition of the mix, the thickness of the substrate and the constraints of the site, but we generally find:
Between 35 and 60 €/m² for the supply and installation of the fibersoil substrate (excluding natural grass). A budget to be adjusted according to the requirements of competition and the desired level of finish

Fibersoil is ideal when a club is looking for a natural pitch that can absorb sustained use while maintaining a consistent level of play. It offers the desired combination: stability, safety, controlled ball speed and durability — a real compromise between natural grass and a reinforced hybrid system.

A hybrid lawn is a natural pitch reinforced by synthetic fibres integrated into the soil or woven into the herbaceous carpet. This system combines the comfort of natural grass with the strength of an artificial surface.

Key Assets:

  • High soil stability, even under heavy use
  • Bounce and ball behavior very close to a 100% natural pitch
  • Excellent resistance to bad weather and close matching
  • Quick recovery after matches

Homogeneity sought for professional and international levels

Hybrid technology involves a higher cost than conventional natural lawns. It also requires very precise technical implementation to avoid compaction and premature degradation of the lawn. Finally, some maintenance operations must be adapted to the fiber system.

The maintenance is similar to that of a competition turf, with a few specificities :

  • Regular decompaction to avoid compaction around the fibers
  • Frequent mowing at a constant height
  • Sandblasting and aeration to maintain drainage and stability

Precise agronomic monitoring to preserve density, colour and homogeneity

A quality hybrid pitch can last 10 to 15 years, depending on the technology used and the intensity of the matches. Its longevity depends above all on compliance with the maintenance cycles provided by the manufacturer

The budget varies depending on the system (surface fibre, injected fibres, reinforced turf, etc.) but it is generally between €80 and €120/m², including installation. Professional clubs often invest more to integrate drainage, watering and premium finishes.

The main difference is the nature of the medium:

  • Hybrid: natural grass reinforced with fibres.
  • Synthetic: a 100% artificial surface, without plant growth.

The first offers a real natural feel and optimal comfort, while the second allows for a very high capacity of use, but with a different playability

The hybrid pitch is a must when looking for a pitch capable of supporting a busy schedule while offering a high level of playing quality. It ensures stability, safety and comfort for players, with a consistently flawless appearance — a balance that is difficult to achieve with classic natural or pure synthetic
