Project
context

the kigali golf course, combining natural beauty and sporting challenge

Golf de Kigali is located in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, in a unique environment combining nature and urbanization. The town, perched on hills, is crossed by several rivers and streams, making it a natural location for water management and water infrastructure concerns. The golf course extends over a large area and includes zones susceptible to flooding, particularly during the rainy season.

Designed to appeal to amateurs and experienced players alike, the course offers a technical and varied layout, alternating undulating fairways, challenging greens and natural obstacles that blend seamlessly into the environment. Each hole has been designed to offer a balance between enjoyment and sporting challenge, in a peaceful setting conducive to concentration and performance.

A prime training venue and host to several national and regional competitions, Kigali Golf Club has established itself as a benchmark in East Africa. Beyond the game itself, the club embodies the spirit of modern Rwanda: respect for nature, excellence and conviviality. It is a must-visit destination for anyone who wants to experience golf at its finest, combining natural beauty with competitive spirit.
