The main pitch is best known for its soccer and rugby activities, but the whole complex also includes athletics facilities, jogging tracks and green spaces open to the public. Surrounded by hills and the famous Happy Valley Racecourse, the complex offers a unique setting in the heart of the city.
It is regularly used for local sports competitions, school training, community events and international rugby 7s and amateur soccer tournaments. Thanks to its well-maintained facilities and efficient management, Happy Valley has become a key meeting point for sports clubs, schools and local residents.
The Happy Valley sports complex perfectly illustrates the balance between modern infrastructure, public access and sporting culture in a dense urban environment, while playing a key role in promoting sport and well-being in Hong Kong.
