context

The Lowlands Golf Course, a lush tropical setting

As part of the creation of this golf complex, numerous engineering studies were the prelude to the construction of a series of water reservoirs designed to compensate for limited water resources. This project required a great deal of coordination between all the companies involved in the construction of this 300-hectare residential complex.

The route winds through palm trees, mangroves, lakes and wild grasses, sometimes bordering the sea and offering splendid views of Scarborough, Tobago’s capital.

The signature hole, the 3ᵉ, is a par 4 built on a peninsula surrounded by a coral garden – one of the most photographed in the country.

Natural obstacles (lakes, swamps, wind, coastal views) force players to think carefully when choosing their shots. The layout features multiple tees, allowing the length and difficulty to be adapted to the player’s level.
