With a view to hosting the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, Equatorial Guinea has undertaken an accelerated modernization of its sports infrastructure, mobilizing several sites across the country to host delegations and official training sessions. It is within this strategic framework that the University of Oyala has been selected as one of the major training centers for international teams.
Gregori International was asked to build the entire soccer pitch within the university complex, with a clear objective: to provide a pitch meeting the most rigorous CAF standards, suitable for intensive training sessions in an optimized environment.
Gregori International’s intervention enabled the site to be equipped with a homogeneous, durable playing surface, designed to offer consistent playing quality despite repeated use, and adapted to the technical requirements of competition. The project is also part of a long-term approach, providing the university with a durable infrastructure designed to support future sports and university training programs.
