Stade de l’Amitié, also known as Stade d’Angondjé, is located in Libreville, the capital of Gabon. Inaugurated in 2011, it has a capacity of around 40,000 and meets international standards. Built in partnership with China, this modern stadium has hosted several major competitions, including the African Cup of Nations (CAN) in 2012 and 2017. It symbolizes international cooperation and is a central venue for Gabonese sport, hosting matches, cultural events and national gatherings.

Built by the Shanghai Construction Group in just 22 months, the Stade de l’Amitié was inaugurated at the end of 2011. It is part of a sports complex featuring an international athletics track, sports fields (handball, tennis, volleyball, basketball) and a soccer pitch.
After an urgent renovation of the turf at the end of 2011, the stadium is ready to host the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations final.
In 2013, Gregori International is in charge of renovating the stadium and soccer training ground.
