Located in Delta State, Warri Stadium (formerly Warri Township Stadium) is undergoing extensive renovation and redevelopment by Nigerian company Peculiar Ultimate Concerns Ltd, which was selected by local authorities in March 2025. This project symbolises the Delta State Government’s commitment to stimulating sports and community development in Warri as part of its ‘MORE Agenda’ strategy.

context
Warri Stadium, performing well in all circumstances
Warri Stadium, also known as Warri Township Stadium, is a major sports facility located in the city of Warri, in the heart of Delta State in southern Nigeria. It is an iconic venue for sport and large gatherings in the region.
Primarily dedicated to football, the stadium hosts local and regional competitions, sports training sessions, as well as various community and cultural events. It plays an important role in promoting sport, youth and social cohesion in Warri and the surrounding area.
Thanks to its strategic location in an economically dynamic city, Warri Stadium also contributes to urban vitality and the development of sporting and recreational activities. It remains a symbol of local pride and a central venue for sporting and popular events in Delta State.

Complete renovation of the Warri Stadium pitch
- Complete renovation total area of 8970m² :
- Fine levelling and compaction of the platform
- Supply and installation of a peripheral and central drainage system
- Opening, filling and closing of trenches, underground drainage via trenches
- Installation of a layer of draining gravel
- Supply and installation of a substrate layer
- Supply and installation of an automatic watering system with a pump unit
- Sowing work with grass suited to the climate
- Growth period without sporting activity
- Supply and installation of a pair of complete football goals and 4 corner posts.
