This project symbolises the Delta State Government’s commitment to stimulating sports and community development in Warri as part of its ‘MORE Agenda’ strategy.

Warri Stadium, also known as Warri Township Stadium, is a major sports facility located in the city of Warri, in the heart of Delta State in southern Nigeria. It is an iconic venue for sports and large gatherings in the region.

Primarily dedicated to football, the stadium hosts local and regional competitions, sports training sessions, and various community and cultural events. It plays an important role in promoting sport, youth development and social cohesion in Warri and the surrounding area.

Thanks to its strategic location in an economically dynamic city, Warri Stadium also contributes to urban vitality and the development of sporting and recreational activities. It remains a symbol of local pride and a central venue for sporting and popular events in Delta State.
