context
the equestrian barracks, a true senegalese sporting heritage
Located in the heart of the new town of Diamniadio, it is part of the system that divides the competitions between Dakar, Saly and Diamniadio. This infrastructure is not limited to the YOG: it also represents a lasting sporting legacy, intended to strengthen the practice of horse riding and to serve as a long-term training and competition framework for the Gendarmerie Nationale and Senegal’s youth.

- Underground drainage and irrigation works: Sub-irrigation with geomembrane over 9,000 m2
- Placement of 17 cm thick coarse sand for drainage layer
- Placement of 13 cm thick washed equestrian sand for working layer
- Supply and installation of wooden kerbstones around the quarry perimeter
- Supply and installation of equestrian fences
- Supply and installation of an access gate to the quarry
