Located in Diamniadio, a few kilometers from Dakar, the Stade Abdoulaye Wade is much more than a sports stadium: it has become a powerful symbol of Senegal’s emergence, both an architectural showcase and a national gathering place. Inaugurated in February 2022, the 50,000-seat stadium meets the most stringent FIFA and CAF requirements.
Designed to host international competitions as well as major cultural events, it has notably been the venue for African Cup of Nations qualifying matches, meetings of prestigious African clubs, and large-scale ceremonies.
The maintenance provided by Gregori International is part of our commitment to preserving the excellence of this benchmark infrastructure. The hybrid turf on the main pitch, which combines natural grass and synthetic fibers for enhanced resistance, requires highly specialized technical expertise. The two annex pitches, used for training and warm-up, complete this highly strategic complex.
