Conceived in 1989, this Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course offers some of the most spectacular mountain and sea views in the Caribbean. Due to the very limited resources of this island, all the equipment and materials were shipped by boat or barge. Despite a rocky ground, a rough topography and the devastation caused by the hurricane ‘Hugo’, the construction schedule was met, in four and a half months . Client : Hotel Equity Fund V, LLC

Construction and Renovation of the 18-hole Championship Golf Course Scope of works : – 1990-1991 : Turn-key construction including earthworks (500,000 m3), installation of drainage and irrigation systems (construction of 3 water tanks – storage capacity : 6,500 m3), grading, shaping, grassing and landscaping works. – 2000 : Overall renovation including drainage, irrigation, re-shaping and grassing.
